NFL DFS Week 3 Picks: Sunday, September 27, 2026 | Updated September 26

Our NFL DFS Week 3 picks start with FantasyLineups projections and the roles we expect on Sunday. Jahmyr Gibbs, Amon-Ra St. Brown and Dalton Schultz are our core candidates, with Patrick Mahomes offering a cash-game option and Lamar Jackson our preferred tournament pivot when the extra salary fits.

Quarterback: Patrick Mahomes — Cash-Game Option
We project Mahomes for 252 passing yards, 2.14 passing touchdowns and 22 rushing yards against Miami. A comfortable Kansas City lead could reduce his passing volume late, but he can also deliver the touchdowns that create that lead. His lower DraftKings salary keeps him in consideration when we want to spend more at running back and receiver.

Tournament Quarterback Pivot: Lamar Jackson
Jackson’s rushing ability gives him another way to produce. Our projections call for 257 passing yards and 42 rushing yards against Dallas, making him our preferred tournament alternative. Baltimore plays in Rio with Ronnie Stanley out and Zay Flowers questionable, so the final injury news matters when choosing a Ravens stacking partner.

Running Back: Jahmyr Gibbs vs. Jets
Our projections give Gibbs approximately 20 carries, 4.4 receptions and 134 combined rushing and receiving yards. That involvement in both phases is why we like him for cash games and tournaments. He is one of our first players to consider when building Sunday’s lineups.

Wide Receiver: Amon-Ra St. Brown vs. Jets
St. Brown projects for 7.2 receptions and 86 receiving yards. That catch volume is particularly attractive on DraftKings, where every reception earns a full point. He remains a core candidate on FanDuel, with salary determining the fit. Pairing him with Gibbs also increases the lineup’s dependence on Detroit’s offense.

Tight End: Dalton Schultz at Colts
Schultz projects for 4.9 receptions and 50 receiving yards, putting him close to Travis Kelce in those categories. With Nico Collins ruled out, we like Schultz’s opportunity to stay involved. He is our preferred value alternative at tight end and fits both cash and tournament builds when the salary savings help elsewhere.
