How to Build a Winning QB Stack
The QB stack is the single most effective structure in NFL DFS. Here’s why it works and how to build it correctly.
The math: When a WR catches a touchdown pass, the QB scores on the same play – passing TD + completion + yards. They’re not independent variables. Pairing them in the same lineup means one big play lifts your entire roster.
The formula for GPPs:
- QB + 2 pass-catchers from the same team + 1 pass-catcher from the opposing team (the “bring-back”)
- The bring-back captures the shootout scenario: if the game goes high-scoring, both offenses produce, and your lineup is positioned for all of it.
