MLB Strikeout Props — April 15:
Finding value in strikeout props comes down to identifying where the line doesn’t match the pitcher’s realistic path to success. Today’s board gives us a few clear spots where the numbers stand out.

Top Strikeout Props
Dustin May — OVER 3.5 Ks
This is one of the more approachable lines on the board. May doesn’t need a ceiling performance to clear this number — just a standard outing with moderate efficiency puts him in range.
Rhett Lowder — OVER 3.5 Ks
Lowder’s path is similar here. With a low threshold, getting to 4 strikeouts is well within reach if he maintains control and works through a few innings cleanly.
Jack Kochanowicz — UNDER 3.5 Ks
This is the flip side. Kochanowicz profiles as a lower strikeout arm, and at this number, he likely needs a near-perfect outing to get over. The under gives you more margin for error.
The Approach
- Target lower strikeout lines where pitchers don’t need peak performances
- Fade spots where the number feels slightly inflated for the profile
- Look for a clear path, not just upside
That’s where consistency comes from in strikeout props.
